Topics include: scarcity, marginality, specialization and trade, equilibrium, elasticity, factor markets, and externalities. Price and output decisions under competitive, imperfectly competitive, and monopolistic markets. Profit maximization and loss minimization strategies for the individual firm are analyzed.
