    Description
    Expands nursing practice into medical-surgical and psychiatric/mental health settings. Emphasizes recognition of significant patient clinical findings, priority setting, and the integration of clinical and social contexts to plan safe and equitable care. Continues to develop students' professional nursing communication and documentation skills while supporting patients and families through diverse health challenges. May be offered in a distance-learning format. Limitation on enrollment: Acceptance to the Cabrillo nursing program
