    Presents the study and performance of jazz ensemble literature for intermediate wind, brass and rhythm section (keyboard, guitar, bass, percussion). Emphasizes sight-reading and rehearsal techniques. Must have ability to read intermediate music at sight and play an instrument with intermediate proficiency. Public performance is required for credit. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
