- Surveys the traditional music cultures of Asia, Africa, Europe, Native America, and Latin America. Emphasis is on the evolution and performance practices of musical styles and the relationship between a culture's music and its religious, political, and social structure. Some of the class hours for this course may be scheduled as To Be Arranged (TBA). May be offered in a distance-learning format.
