    Description
    Presents the use of probability techniques, hypothesis testing, and predictive techniques to facilitate decision-making. Topics include descriptive statistics; probability and sampling distributions; statistical inference; correlation and linear regression; analysis of variance (ANOVA); chi-square and t-tests; and application of technology for statistical analysis including the interpretation of the relevance of statistical findings. This honors course provides enhanced academic rigor with demands that exceed those of a standard version of the course. May be offered in a distance-learning format. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC, WITH LIMITS: STAT C1000, MATH 12, MATH 12H, BUS 9, and PSYCH 2A combined: maximum credit- 1 course.
