    Prepares students to take the clinical section of a medical assisting exam such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Administrative Specialist (CMAS), or the California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA). Includes review, study, and practice exams covering diagnostic and treatment services, surgical care, pharmacology and drug therapy, first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, clinical laboratory science, and nutrition and diet therapy. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
