    Description
    Provides instruction in propulsive techniques of the butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle swim strokes used in competitive swimming. Emphasis on swimming correctly at different paces for exercise and workout purposes. May be offered in a distance-learning format. Transfers to CSU; UC, with limits: Any or all KIN activity courses combined: maximum credit - 4 units. CAB GE E, CSU GE E (Beg. F'13- may be used to meet Area E if combined with other non-activity Area E units from the CG or NUTR (CAHM) departments).
