- Provides an orientation to group dynamics, group leadership, and group intervention strategies in a variety of human service settings. Examines various kinds of groups and basic facilitation skills for group leaders. Introduces group work interventions with specific populations including substance abusers, at-risk youth, and older adults. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
