- Examines physical, chemical, and biological composition of soils, local soil formations, methods of soil sampling and testing, fertilizer and liming techniques, production and use of organic and chemical fertilizers, green manures, and relationship between soils and human culture. Includes the use and testing of soils for production plus septic and gray water systems. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
