    Description
    Provides hands-on experience using pruning equipment and presents general and specific pruning techniques of common plants in the landscape including ornamental trees, shrubs and vines, roses, and fruit trees. Discusses the advantages and disadvantages of winter versus summer pruning and the selection of plants for special pruning techniques such as topiary, hedging, winter interest and blooming. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
