    Introduces the concepts and practices of integrated pest management emphasizing identification of insects, vertebrates, diseases and weeds in managed landscapes, crops, nurseries and greenhouses on the Central Coast. Covers pesticide use and safety and the techniques of integrated pest management including: biological control, resistant varieties, cultural controls and mixed cropping. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
