Analyzes the roles women have played in the United States and the changes those roles have undergone. Covers the scope of at least a hundred years. Emphasis on the historical, philosophical, political, and aesthetic content. This honors course provides enhanced academic rigor with demands that exceed those of a standard version of the course. Critical, analytical written work is the primary means of evaluation. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
