    Description
    Explores methods and principles of supporting and supervising student teachers, volunteers, staff and other adults in early care and education settings. Emphasis is on the roles and development of early childhood professionals as mentors and leaders. Required for entry into the Mentor Teacher program. Meets the Adult Supervision course requirement for the California Child Development Permit. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
