    Presents developmentally appropriate practices for cooking with young children to support sensory/motor learning; math and science concepts; emergent literacy and language, in culturally responsive curriculum. Presents strategies for planning and preparing a child-safe cooking environment; how to create healthy and nutritious, simple, good tasting food; and how to implement a cooking curriculum using everyday utensils and appliances. May be offered in Spanish or in a bilingual format. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
