    Description
    Examines the major social and emotional, cognitive/language, and physical developmental milestones for children from conception through adolescence with an emphasis on non- judgmental observation. Focuses on the interaction between maturational processes and environmental factors. Students will observe children, evaluate individual differences, and analyze characteristics of development at various stages according to developmental theories. Critical, analytical written work is the primary means of evaluation. May be offered in Spanish or in a Bilingual Format. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
