- Examines the fundamental investigative techniques of crime scene and follow-up investigation; the definition, categories, and handling of physical evidence as well as the investigative value of various types of evidence, identification, and lifting of fingerprints; interviewing, interrogation, and sources of information; investigating specific crimes. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
