    Introduces the legal and procedural fundamentals of evidence and testimony. This course is ideal for anyone interested in a public safety career and/or currently in public safety roles. Students will explore topics including authentication, chain of custody, exclusionary rule, expert testimony, and hearsay. Provides instruction in best practices for courtroom testimony, with opportunities to demonstrate courtroom testimony skills. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
