Includes internet protocol (IP) addressing, Ethernet operations, principles of transmission control protocol (TCP) and user datagram protocol (UDP), and application protocols such as dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) and domain name system (DNS), to build simple local area networks (LANs) that integrate IP addressing schemes, foundational network security, and basic configurations for routers and switches.
