    Description
    Covers theory, knowledge, and technology for high-performance electric water heaters. Topics include: monoblock units and electric tank units, smart controls and system efficiency, retrofitting, heat-pump water heater design and selection, and smart diagnostic tools. Students successfully completing the course can pursue the Educational Standard Corporation (ESCO) Heat Pump Water Heater Certification recognized by the Department of Energy. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
