Covers construction theory, method, and approach, as well as safe operation of hand and power tools. Required corequisite lab provides students opportunities to learn hands-on and practice skills while completing projects over the semester. Topics include framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Career building services are provided so students may prepare their resume, cover letters, and applications for internships, apprenticeships, or job placement. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
