    Description
    Introduces the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building rating system as well as professional credentialing as they relate to construction, operation, and maintenance. Includes the life cycle of buildings and provides the knowledge and skills necessary for the construction of sustainable structures. Prepares the student for the LEED Green Associate’s Exam administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), a requirement for becoming a LEED Accredited Professional. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
