    Description
    Explores methods of creating self-directed, non-traditional, and entrepreneurial pathways in the visual, applied, and performing arts. Skills taught include design thinking, innovation, project mapping, collaborative teamwork, defining an audience, marketing, and branding. Students engage in self-reflection and identify needs that call for arts-based solutions in order to develop, pitch, and present a creative project. Cross-listed as AH 479, ART 479, AP 479, DANCE 479, DM 479, MUS 479, and TA 479. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
