- This course provides an overview of challenges that may influence the learning process and provides instructional strategies for addressing environmental, medical, intellectual, and physical issues. The goal of this course is to increase the awareness of students who work with adults with developmental disabilities about probable barriers to learning and how the barriers can be lessened or resolved.
