    This course builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in NSG 127. The course expands the students' understanding of the registered nurse’s role as part of the healthcare team. Course content emphasizes medical/surgical knowledge, competencies and skills essential for successful performance in the LVN’s advanced placement of the ADN program. There will also be review of OB and Peds content to ensure preparation and success in the ADN program. Clinical application of the registered nurse’s role will be incorporated within the simulation and skills lab environment. Graded only.
