This course provides directed clinical experience in acute hospitals and agencies that provide services for mental health and medical/surgical clients. Emphasis will be upon the role of the registered nurse in caring for clients with acute and chronic problems, prevention of complications related to mental health and medical/surgical clients, and client education.
