Students will study music as a form of communication and as a social and cultural force. The course will focus on the rhythms, melodies, and cultural contexts of the music and will examine the role of music in social and political movements. Through lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of the music's evolution, cultural significance, and its impact on the global stage.
