Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course in college-level research provides students with a basic understanding of library research methods and the skills to identify, locate, access, evaluate, and cite sources effectively and ethically. Students are introduced to a variety of information resources and search tools available through academic libraries, with an emphasis on online resources. Additional topics include the value of information, misinformation/disinformation, and how bias and privilege play a part in information creation. These skills help students become strong researchers and life-long learners.
