The primary focus of the EMR is to initiate immediate lifesaving care to critical patients who access the emergency medical system. The course covers the basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional Emergency Medical Service (EMS) response and to assist higher level personnel at the scene and during transport. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the exam required for certification as an EMR in the state of California.Usually HeldMon Tue Wed Thu 2:30pm–3:50pm, Mon Tue Wed Thu 4:00pm–5:20pm
