The course covers terminology used in the study of aging and adult development including phases of aging, transitions, coping, and constructive or positive adaptation. Students will also analyze theoretical and research methodological issues in the study of adult maturation including challenges related to physiological changes, societal expectations, and challenges views on death and dying.
