    Description
    This course is the first course of a calculus-based sequence for majors in biology, chemistry, computer science, kinesiology, mathematics, engineering, astronomy and certain other fields. This course covers statics and dynamics of particles and rigid bodies, Newton's Laws of Motion, conservation principles, rotational motion, simple harmonic motion, wave motion and sound, and introduction to hydrostatics and hydrodynamics. Corequisite: MATH 4A.
