    Description
    This course is designed to create understanding, appreciation, and tolerance of diverse cultures, particularly those of non-Western civilizations which are ethnic minority groups in American culture. Topics covered will include the nature of culture, the epistemology of cultural diversity, world news, religion, traditional values, ethnocentrism, cultural relativism, cultural pluralism, and the philosophy of liberation.
