Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course involves an increasingly advanced level of study and performance of collegiate band literature from early classics to contemporary works, with an emphasis on performance of featured soloist music. As the final course in MUSI 5D the MUSI 5 series, students will have the opportunity to showcase their musical skills learned throughout the series by performing virtuosic solos in the semester's concert program. Students will learn how to be successful soloists, building upon the previous skills acquired in the MUSI 5 prerequisites, which prepares them to be well rounded musicians and performers.
