Topics include first order equations, linear equations, reduction of order, a variation of parameters, spring motion and other applications, Cauchy-Euler equations, power series solutions, Laplace transforms, and systems of linear differential equations. Recommended Preparation: Three semesters of calculus for science, math, and engineering. Prerequisite: MATH 4B.
