Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course will introduce students to the techniques and the principles involved in rendering prompt and necessary emergency care to the injured or ill. Instruction will cover KINL 23 material for breathing and cardiac material for breathing and cardiac emergencies, sudden illnesses, soft tissue injuries, environmental incidents, musculoskeletal injuries, and other special circumstances. Students will practice the skills and procedures for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), rescue breathing, and the proper use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). With the successful completion of this course students will have the opportunity to become certified in the Standard First Aid and Personal Safety and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificates granted by the American Red Cross.Usually HeldFri 9:00am–12:00pm
