- This course is designed to give the student an understanding of conductor and calculations commonly found in the field. Covered in this course are the selection of electrical conductors for specific applications, calculation of voltage drops, NEC regulations, calculate and apply NEC tap rules. Also covered are conductor sizing, conductor derating, and selection of conductors for various temperature ranges and atmospheres. Prerequisite: IMEI 90D.
