- This course is designed to give the student an understanding of hazardous locations commonly found in the field. Covered in this course are various classifications of hazardous locations, wiring methods permitted, use of seals and drains, wiring methods for Class I, Class II, and Class III hazardous locations. Also covered are the NEC requirements for installing explosion-proof fittings in specific hazardous locations. Prerequisite: IMEI 80F.
