Course emphasis is on developing more sophisticated grammatical structures, focusing on adjective clauses, adverbial clauses, noun clauses, and passive voice. Students will also expand knowledge of error correction. This course takes a content-based approach to instruction, connecting skills to cultural context, focusing on topics of U.S. history, religion, and/or politics in order to support students as they work toward college-level coursework.
