Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of diesel engines. The development, uses, advantages/ disadvantages, design, components, operating principles, diesel fuels, combustion process, and exhaust emissions will be covered within this course. The student will perform pre-operational services, initial inspections, identifying engine components, and generally touch on all systems in regards to diesel engines. Students will gain hands-on experience of tools and test equipment used in the repair and servicing of diesel engines.Usually HeldWed 6:00pm–8:50pm
