The strength of this course is its practical application in real-world settings when discussing topics such as the importance of creating safe indoor and outdoor environments for example how a properly set-up classroom can act as a child abuse mitigation strategy. The well-being and health of teachers is also discussed, and all topics relate back to sound early childhood educational principles such as developmentally appropriate practices.
