Interpretation of data in drawing a conclusion is stressed, along with the ability to criticize methods of data collection and experimentation. Topics include human populations, energy flow through systems, bioenergetics, ecological principles, biodiversity, climate change, sustainability, renewable and non-renewable energy, water resources, air and water pollution, and solid waste management.
