Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed to provide an overview of police field operations. Topics that will be covered include techniques of patrol enforcement such as basic patrol and traffic duties; handling requests for services; conducting field interviews, searches, and arrests; interceding in civil and domestic disturbances; and responding to disaster situations. Ethical issues as they relate to the performance of field police work will also be discussed. Recommended Preparation: ENGL 50X.
