- The course includes clinical practice in a hospital or long-term care facility. Emphasis is on safety principles and basic patient care skills. NOTE: No grade will be given for this class; students will receive "pass" or "no pass" only. Qualifying Certified Nursing Assistants are exempt from this course. Prior approval must be obtained from the Director of Nursing.
