    Completion of ENGL 101. The concentration of this course is on the poetry, prose, and dra- ma produced by Americans from 1865 to the present. Included is an introduction to some of the historical, cultural, religious, and social issues which helped shape the ideas and ideologies of the times, including literary and cultural movements such as Naturalism, Realism, Modernism, and Postmodernism.
