    Completion of NS 201A and NS 202A. The nursing process is used to meet the health care and nursing needs of critically ill adult medical/surgical patients. Integrated throughout the course are the concepts of patient-centered care, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, safety, and informatics. The roles and responsibilities of a professional nurse including practitioner, manager of care, scholar, and teacher will be developed. (CSU, AVC)
