    Completion of MUS 251A A study of advanced methods of writing harmonic progressions, a basic tour of the late nineteenth and twentieth century stylistic periods, usage of borrowed and altered chords, enharmonic modulation techniques, study of new scales and sonorities associated with post-romanticism, impressionism, atonality, serialism and chance music.
