    Completion of Intermediate Algebra or higher or placement by multiple measures. This is a survey of mathematics course and is designed for students who are taking mathematics for liberal arts majors or as a fulfillment of their general education requirements. The course is a survey of mathematical topics that introduces the art, history, and applications to a general audience. Students will appreciate mathematics through exploration of a wide range of applications in physical and social sciences, and also via its unparalleled and often surprising appearance in humanities.
