    This course will introduce students to the basics of academic library research. It will cover access and use of periodical databases, library catalogs, search engines and other information tools. Students will learn to evaluate information for quality by considering authorship, timeliness, and information sources used. Students will become familiar with a variety of information sources, in multiple formats, covering an array of subject areas. Students will be introduced to concepts of information literacy and aspects of information technology.
