- This course will introduce basic tap dance techniques using various beginning level combinations and rhythmic structures. It will provide an opportunity to develop motor coordination and rhythm. Some history of tap dance will be included. Compositional forms and rhythms are practiced leading to an understanding and appreciation of tap as an artistic dance form.
