This is an advanced-level investigation of the theoretical principles, material approaches, and cultural practices related to drawing as a creative expression. Projects emphasize student- driven research and cultivate conceptually driven creative practices and methods. Students will use deep investigation of drawing fundamentals to develop a cohesive body of work in dialog with specific historical and contemporary approaches to drawing.
