    Description
    This course is an introduction to welding processes, including shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored gas shield and self shield, gas tungsten arc, oxyacetylene cutting and welding on joint designs, and positions used in industry. Safety in arc welding, oxyacetylene, and plasma cutting is also covered. Field trips may be required. This course is not open to students who have already completed WELD 301.
